  Enough excuses - total time (including creating and updating this page) so far: 3.50 Hours. If I can find time to show this stuff - you can find time to build a better entry!

The first thing I do is a concept layout (using the Outline View in Word) to brainstorm what I want and organize what approach might work the best.

For my concept, I've selected to reproduce Steve McCurry's famous photograph:


The first thing I'll have to do is deal with the frame aspect difference between my 'guide' image (at 1.5) and the HD final rendering (at 1.777) -

Okay, this isn't too bad - but it can cause real problems later. I might have to make more detail than originally existed - oh well. Another day in 3D.
